On Friday 20th, December 2024, staff, students, and special guests gathered at the esplanade of the University of Bamenda Digital Development Centre for the launch of the facility. This facility has been described as a presidential gift to higher education.
Professor Atsa Etoundi, Director of Information Systems at the Ministry of Higher Education, spoke at the event. He described the centre as a development that will revolutionise teaching and learning within the university.
The Vice-Chancellor of UBa, representing the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, stated that the centre's arrival coincides with the recent launch of TAGDev 2.0 and will significantly contribute to the project's implementation.
