The University of Bamenda has signed Memorandum of Understanding( MOUs) and Specific Partnership Agreements with some Private Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs) in Cameroon
The Signing ceremony officiated by the Vice Chancellor Professor Theresia Nkuo Akenji, saw the signing of 23 MOUs and 16 Specific Partnership Agreements (SPAs), 3 extensions of SPAs and 5 reconstitution of SPAs.
During the signing ceremony, Professor Theresia Nkuo Akenji pressed on the need for Private Higher Institutions to strictly adhere to the terms of the MOUs and SPAs.
These MoUs and SPAs will engage the PHEIs as UBa's key partners in implementation of the TAGDev 2.0 program and providing a sustainable platform to upscale transformative education within the higher education ecosystem in Cameroon.
This partnership will focus on areas including staff retooling, Curriculum & Pedagogy - reforming Programmes for hands-on, problem-based learning; Entrepreneurship & business Incubation ; aligning training with national youth and development policies.
