Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Insurance and Security

The curriculum of B.B.A. of Insurance and Security offers the knowledge of the basics of insurance, reinsurance, and the insurance industry in general, all its formats, both in theory and practice. It also imparts knowledge of distribution, selling and marketing of financial and advisory services, in insurance sector. The Higher Institute of Commerce and Management hopes the Learning Outcome-based Curriculum Framework approach of the programme of B.B.A. of Insurance and Security will help students in making an informed decision regarding the goals that they wish to pursue in further education and life, at large.

Prerequisite
For BBA in Insurance and Security, the basic qualification to enter into this program is the General Certificate of Education Examination, GCE Advanced Level, the BAC or any other recognized equivalent by the Ministry of Higher Education. With this pre-requisite, candidates must sit and pass a national competitive examination. The department also admit private students to be awarded a BBA.
