UBa To Mentor 29 University Institutes, Signs Partnerships

Some 29 Private Higher Educational Institutions in Bamenda and other regions in Cameron have signed memorandums of understanding and specific partnership agreements with some 29 university institutes.

 Some 29 Private Higher Educational Institutions in Bamenda and other regions in Cameron have signed memorandums of understanding and specific partnership agreements with some 29 university institutes. This was during a solemn signing ceremony in The University of Bamenda September on 21, 2022 chaired by the Vice- Chancellor of The University of Bamenda, Professor Theresia Nkuo-Akenji. Described as the highest in history, it is a pointer that the university of Bamenda is steadfast its journey of academic excellence. The University of Bamenda Vice-Chancellor reminded the growing University Institutes that it is thanks to the university’s pursuance of excellence in Teaching Research an Outreach through collaborative initiatives and joint ventures that the University of Bamenda is signing the partnership with the various institutions. While congratulating the institutions signing specific partnership agreements and those extending specific partnership agreements, Professor Theresi Nkuo-Akenji reminded the various University Institutions that an MoU is a takeoff premise for collaboration and cooporation and it only becomes concrete with the signing of specific partnership agreement. Also speaking at the event was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor In charge Of Research, Cooperation and relations with the Business World, DVC RCB, Roseline Mai Jua. She reminded the growing university institutes that the University of Baamenda has always sought to encouraged private higher educational institutions and that explains why The University is entering the current partnerships with them. For close to three hours, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Theresia Nkuo-Akenji and the various institutional heads took turns in signing the various agreements binding the institutions as partners.
