The Archbishop of Bamenda Archdiocese Visits The University of Bamenda for a Mass with Staff and Students

The Archbishop of Bamenda Archdiocese, His Grace Andrew Nkea made a solemn call to the Vice-Chancellor of The University of Bamenda to create peace clubs in every faculty and school of her institution.

He made this call during a Mass with students and staff of UBa, Tuesday March 2 at the restaurant of the university.

The prelate promised if these clubs are created, he will personally sit with members of the clubs to discuss and find peace for the country, Cameroon. "You and I with the support of the Vice-Chancellor can achieve peace" he told UBa family.

The shepherd of Catholic faithful of the Bamenda Archdiocese also used the ceremony to thank members of the university for supporting financially the construction project of a retirement home for priests. "You have touched my heart", he told congregants.




This was the maiden visit of His Grace Nkea to The University of Bamenda in his capacity as Archbishop of the Bamenda Archdiocese/Ecclesiastical Province.

He was appointed Archbishop on December 30, 2019 and he took procession of Bamenda see on February 22, 2020. On January 31, 2021, he received the pallium from the Holy See which vested on him full authority over the Bamenda Ecclesiastical Province.
